Malamour Pecorino — Natural White Wine from Abruzzo: Naturally White
Malamour Pecorino is a 100% Pecorino natural wine, grown at 500 metres in Capo d'Acqua, one of the coolest corners of Abruzzo, where warm days and cold nights give the grape real tension. Organic, made with spontaneous fermentation and no added sulphites, it is the wine of our land with nothing to hide behind: just grapes. 100% uva e basta.
Tasting Notes
Vertical, salty and mineral. Fresh, with a distinctive savoury character and balanced acidity, structured yet elegant, with a long, clean finish. A white that always calls for a second glass.
Food Pairings
Its savoury, mineral profile makes Malamour Pecorino a natural match for:
- Seafood — crudo, grilled fish, shellfish, spaghetti alle vongole
- Aperitivo — olives, cured meats, fried vegetables
- Cheeses — fresh and medium-aged sheep's cheeses, burrata
- Vegetable dishes — risotto, roasted vegetables, herb-driven recipes

Vinification
The grapes are pressed straight away, with only a few hours of skin contact. Fermentation starts spontaneously, with indigenous yeasts, and the wine is aged in concrete. No filtration, no fining, no added sulphites: just balance, and the individuality of each vintage. A little natural sediment in the bottle is normal.
Why Choose Malamour Pecorino?
Alongside our organic DOC wines, Malamour explores natural winemaking with small producers in Abruzzo who avoid synthetic chemicals in the vineyard and let the wine do most of the work.
